Overview

This model adresses the question how consistent behavior can be generated based on inconsistent stimuli. For instance, decisions based on seeing natural images are almost always diffcult due to the noisy nature of the input domain. The model offers different stable activity states (attractors), that "lock" a noisy stimulus to a particular response.

Developing institutions

KTH, UHEI, TUD

Developers

Mikael Lundqvist, Oliver Breitwieser, Mihai A. Petrovici, Bernhard Vogginger

Status

The model is implemented in PyNN and operational on the ESS. A "final version" in PyNN will be available soon, which will accurately reproduce the dynamics of the original model with components and parameters available on the waferscale device.
