1K Pot

Temperature Read-Out

The temperature of the 1K Pot is read with a carbon resistor thermometer FT4 by the LR-700. The carbon thermometer is mounted on top of the 1K Pot next to the pumping tube of the still leading through the pot. There is also a heater in the middle of 1K pot, but it is not know how to use this heater.

HS mounted on top of the 1KPot

The 1K Pot has two filling capillaries. The filling via one can be controlled by a valve, the filling trough the second is permanently via a long impedance.
Unknown function of a 47k ${\Omega }$ resistor mounted next to the still tube. Its connected to BOXI X10:3 and X10:4.
April 2011: rearrange cables and wiring for the installation of SQUID-wires and HF-coax cables.
Strange Heat Sink for Heat Switch (removed!!!) This is one of two former Heat Switches. They were connected with leads to the mixing chamber. The resistance of the heat switch was 1k ${\Omega }$ . The led-HS was connected to Pin Bar B, the other one to Pin Bar F(8|16).
