Overview
This model is a variant of the cortical column simulation at EPFL and aims at an implementation on hardware. The underlying connectivity has been generated by a fitting procedure that mimicks the behavior of the detailed model. An inititial model has been implemented in NEST and has been ported to pyNN. The project corresponds to WP 3, Task 5. According to the proposal, the project is currently in the conceptual minimization stage.
